Things Got Juicy With Darina

By the time I handed Darina my pocket knife and an overly juicy orange, the loud part of the shoot was already behind us.

Earlier that afternoon had been all energy and impact. Waves crashing in, rocks slippery, that constant edge of reacting instead of feeling. Exciting, but demanding. What came after felt like a second chapter.

We walked further along the cliffs at Punta Galera, away from the sunset crowd, and found a quiet ledge high above the sea. I gave her the orange without much explanation. She cut it open slowly. Juice everywhere. At one point it ran straight down between her breasts, catching the last light of the day. A moment so unplanned it felt unreal.

Somewhere around there, I stopped thinking about photos.

It didn’t feel like shooting anymore. It felt easy. Calm. Like spending time with someone who looked almost too perfect to be real, yet was sitting right there on warm rock, completely at ease. The pressure was gone. The posing faded. It became simple. I like taking photos. She likes being photographed. So we just let that happen.

The topless photos followed naturally. Soft at first. Then stronger. Cute one moment, pure fantasy the next. Both felt true. Standing there high above the sea, with the sun disappearing in front of us, it all felt strangely surreal. A Russian girl who most people only know as a supermodel on a screen, suddenly very real, very present.

A few quick flash shots closed the day. Sharp. Playful. A clean ending.

Looking back, it’s this whole second part of the afternoon that stays with me. Everything after the waves. The calm. The ease. The feeling that we weren’t chasing anything anymore, just letting the day finish in its own way.

You already know where to find the rest of this story. The full gallery, the moments in between, and of course the behind-the-scenes video if you really want to feel like you were there with us that day.

Thanks for being here with me,

Arnold ✌🏼
